From the desk of Cody Sperber:

Christmas is upon us.

I remember a couple years ago I was in a particularly bad mood.  It happens once every couple years or so.

So I’m in this bad mood.  Just feeling very…disturbed.  It happened to be this month so I decided to go get my shopping over and done with.

I drove 95 miles an hour the whole way to the mall.  Cut people off.  Ran red lights.  Did some hit and runs.  Normal stuff you do when you’re driving while in a bi-annual bad mood.

In my case, driving while angry (DWA) is about 19 times more dangerous for Society At Large than driving while intoxicated.  And stop judging me by the way.  I have my weaknesses – you have yours.  I just tell everyone mine is all.  I’m NOT SCARED like that.

So I finally arrive alive at the mall.  I love the mall.  So many glittery treats and sparkly new things that make me happy for at least 3 minutes after I buy them.  I love it.  And the mall most definitely likes me.  Ask it.

Shopping commences.

As I started finding different things for my family that I knew would make them happy, I began to notice a subtle shift in my mood.

It got good.

I bought tons of stuff for other people and nothing for me.  By the time I was done shopping, my bad mood was gone, and I was officially happy.

Why?

Because I stopped thinking about myself and my problems, and I started thinking about other people and what I could do to make them happy.

When our minds are consumed with ourselves, we are completely miserable.  It’s simply not how life was intended to be lived.  It’s a recipe for dysfunction.

Aren’t you tired of being dysfunctional?  I know I am.  Even more profound – aren’t you tired of lying to yourself and others by pretending you’re NOT?  You’re not ok.  Stop kidding yourself.  I’m not ok.  Something is drastically wrong with the world.  Can’t you just feel it?  I sure can.  It’s full of a bunch of flat out FAKERS who put on a good show, but in reality they are rotting away inside.  Confident on the outside – freaked out on the inside.

There is something going on inside of you that scares the ever living CRAP out of you and you KNOW it.  You don’t know what it is, and you don’t know what to do about it.  Up until now you’ve simply been ignoring it and covering it up with sports, liquor, sex, and nonsense.

The problem is YOU.  You’re a slave to yourself.  You can’t stop thinking about yourself.  The thought of you consumes you day and night.  Other people don’t really matter.  You say they do.  But they don’t when it comes right down to it.  It matters what they can DO for you.

Other people’s pain makes me literally weep.  Did it just yesterday as a matter of fact.  My eyes are tearing up right this very second as I type this while thinking about a friend of mine who just lost her sister to cancer.

Can you relate?

When all we think about is ourselves, our tendency is to be irritable, angry, and depressed.  Our performance suffers.  Our relationships suffer.  Other people suffer because we are not emotionally available for them.

The world becomes a worse place in general.

So let’s be reasonable.

What you need is deliverance from your self. Your self is your worst enemy.  That’s not just a profound-in 1981-sounding metaphorical saying either. It’s not a metaphor at all. It’s an enigma.

You are your own worst enemy.

There is only one way to interpret this without having your interpretation interpreted by Mensa members  as the profoundly insane gibberish of a five foot two inch man with well-meaning but evil-doing split personalities – all elfs / elves* – sporting an inescapable, but not for lack of trying, size 4, crushed velvet straightjacket speaking in tongues.

I don’t know what it is, but … I know there’s only one. Let’s put our heads together and figure it out some day ok?

I think it probably has something to do with you not being who you think you are. That’s good news no matter how good you’re feeling about your self right now.

There is only one place to turn for this deliverance.  You can’t do it yourself.  Your self is whack, remember? How are you going to help you? That would be like asking a mute to teach you how to win freestyle rap battles, and you’re a mute too.

I don’t know about you, but my deliverance lies wrapped in swaddling cloth at a manger in Bethlehem over 2000 years ago. Reason personified.

Little baby Jesus.    (Talladega nights.  : )

That’s my personal reason this season. And forever. God has given me so much. He’s blessed me beyond belief. So this coming year, I’ve made up my mind to bless YOU. I’m going to be amping up the giving. Every single day I’m going to be asking myself, “What can I do for {firstname} TODAY?”

Then I’m gonna do it.

Get ready.

Secrets of the Millionaire Mind—T. Harv Eker

Have you ever wondered why some people seem to get rich easily while others are destined for lives of financial struggle? Is the difference found in their education, intelligence, skills, timing, work habits, contacts, luck, or choice of jobs, businesses, or investments?

The shocking answer is: none of the above!

We all have personal money blueprints ingrained in our subconscious minds, and it is these blueprints, more than anything, that will determine our financial lives. The good news is that now you can actually reset your money blueprint to create natural and automatic success.

Secrets of the Millionaire Mind is two books in one. Part 1 explains how your money blueprint works. You will learn how your childhood influences have shaped your financial destiny. You will also learn how to identify your own money blueprint and “revise” it not only to create success but, more important, to keep and continually grow it.

In Part 2 he introduces 17 “Wealth Files”, which describe exactly how rich people think and act differently from most poor and middle-class people. Each Wealth File includes action steps for you to practice in the real world in order to dramatically increase your income and accumulate wealth.

If you are not doing as well financially as you would like, you will have to change your money blueprint. Unfortunately your current money blueprint will tend to stay with you for the rest of your life unless you identify and revise it. So REVISE it!

Remember, if you think like rich people think and do what rich people do, chances are you’ll get rich, too!

Students Success Story:

I have had an amazing experience with Clever Investor not to say It hasn’t been a long hard road But anything worth succeeding at is ! The advisor’s Cody has on his team are truly the life blood of his mentoring program because they invest in themselves and care whether or not people succeed in this business. They have become family to me and I would not have the understanding nor been able to build the connections necessary in Real Estate if it wasn’t for their dedication to their students ( along with my own desire to never give up! ) Clever Investor’s mentoring program is worth its weight in gold, Cody and his team are phenomenal at under promising and OVER delivering trust me !! As long as you are willing to put in the work to the best of your ability the sky’s the limit ! I’ve invested in other mentoring programs and have nothing nice to say there , I tell everyone who is looking for help/ mentoring that Cody Sperber and the Clever Investor family will not let them down , in my opinion I’ve gotten way more than my money’s worth and am very grateful for the family I’ve gained along the way .
